INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION

79th Independence Day was celebrated with great pride and patriotic fervor by the students of Shri Anantheshwara Higher Primary School and Vidyodaya Pre-University College at College premises.
Sri N. Nagaraja Ballal, President, College Management Committee was the Chief Guest of the programme. He unfurled the National flag followed by the National Anthem, Dhwaja Geetha and a patriotic song by the students of Shri Anantheshwara Higher Primary School. In her speech on Independence Day, Sanskrithi of Class VII, Shri Anantheshwara Higher Primary School, paid tribute to the freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the Independence of our country.
In his address to the students, Sri K. Ganesh Rao, Secretary, College Management Committee highlighted the importance of freedom and remembered the sacrifices of our brave martyrs. Smt. Roopa Ballal, Joint Secretary, College Management Committee was also present on the occasion.
The presence of Sandeep Kumar, Principal, Vidyodaya Pre-University College, Smt. Ranjana K. Vice Principal, Vidyodaya Pre-University College and Smt. B.G. Shashirekha, Headmistress, Shri Anantheshwara Higher Primary School, added velour of the programme.
Vaibhav Ganesh Kamath of II PUC, the College Pupil Leader, welcomed the gathering and Raksha K. Gaonkar of Shri Anantheshwara Higher Primary School proposed the Vote of Thanks. The programme was compered by Shanvi of VII Std., Shri Anantheshwara Higher Primary School.
The celebration of Independence Day helped to instill a sense of patriotism and pride in the students and faculty members.
