WORKSHOP FOR COMPUTER SCIENCE

A one day workshop for Computer Science Lecturers of Udupi District was conducted on 7th August 2025 in the college auditorium of Vidyodaya Pre-University College Udupi.
The major objectives of the workshop were to discuss the syllabus for the academic year 2025-26 and how to carry out the written and Practical Examinations.
The programme was inaugurated by the resource person of the day, Sri Lakshith Poojary, who is the Asst. Professor of Smt. Rukmini Shedthi Memorial National Government First Grade College, and PG Study Centre, Barkur. He briefed the lecturers about various teaching methodologies and also, interacted with the lecturers.
In his presidential address, Sri Sandeep Kumar, Principal, Vidyodaya Pre-University College, Udupi spoke about the importance of workshops and its benefits.
Sri Jnanesh Kotian President of the Computer Science Lecturers’ Association and the H.O.D Dept. of Computer Science, Creative P.U. College, Karkala welcomed the gathering. Smt. Shakunthala Rajesh Palan, Secretary, Computer Science Lecturers’ Association and the H.O.D Dept. of Computer Science, Vidyodaya P.U. College, Udupi proposed vote of thanks.
The programme was compered by Smt. Smitha, Lecturer, Department of Computer Science, Creative P.U College, Karkala. Smt. Binu Jayachandran, Treasurer, Computer Science Lecturers’ Association, Lecturer in Computer Science, Saint Mary Composite P.U College, Kundapur, was also present in the programme.
