Vidyodaya Pre-University College conducted a Felicitation Ceremony for State Rank Holders of the Academic Year 2025–26 and an Orientation Programme for First-Year students of 2026–27. The programme was inaugurated by His Holiness Sri Sri Vishwaprasanna Theertha Swamiji of Pejawar Adhokshaja Matha, who felicitated the rank holders and emphasized the importance of continuous learning and perseverance. The event also featured an inspiring address by Sri N. R. Damodara Sharma and highlighted the institution’s academic achievements.

A Felicitation Ceremony for the State Rank Holders of the Academic Year 2025–26 and an Orientation Programme for the First-Year students of the Academic Year 2026–27 were held on 5 June 2026 at Vidyodaya Pre-University College.

The President of Vidyodaya Trust, His Holiness Sri Sri Vishwaprasanna Theertha Swamiji of Pejawar Adhokshaja Matha, inaugurated the programme by lighting the ceremonial lamp and felicitated the students who had secured State Ranks in the Second PUC Board Examination. Addressing the gathering, His Holiness remarked, “Success is achieved through a journey of continuous learning and perseverance.”

The Chief Guest, renowned thinker and orator Sri N. R. Damodara Sharma of Barkur, inspired the students with his words: “Just as the ocean embraces the river, a guru embraces the disciple and showers the flowers of fulfilment.”

The Principal of the College, Sri Sandeep Kumar, highlighted the institution’s outstanding achievements and academic excellence. The programme was presided over by Sri N. Nagaraja Ballal, President of the College Management Committee. Treasurer Sri U. Padmaraj Acharya and Joint Secretary Smt. Roopa Ballal graced the occasion.

Vice Principal Smt. Ranjana K. welcomed the gathering. Smt. Shubha S. Kamath, Head of the Department of Physics, presented the list of State Rank Holders. Smt. Shakunthala R. Palan, Head of the Department of Computer Science, proposed the vote of thanks. The programme was compered by Shri Nagendra Aithal, Head of the Department of Kannada.
