Annual Day Vidyodaya Pre-University College

The Annual Day of Vidyodaya Pre-University College, Udupi was held on 23^rd November 2025 at the college premises. The Chief Guest of the programme was Dr. Gananath Ekkar, President of the Dr. Shivaram Karanth Trust, Govt. of Karnataka. The event showcased the academic and extracurricular achievements of students throughout the year. The day was filled with excitement and entertainment.

The programme commenced at 9.30 am with a soulful prayer by the college students, followed by a warm welcome by Thaniya Poojary of    II-D, Student Secretary. The Principal, Sri Sandeep Kumar, presented the annual report, highlighting the laurels and academic activities of the 2025-26 academic year.

Felicitation and distribution of merit certificates were presented to acknowledge the exemplary performance of students in various fields such as academics, art, culture and sports.

Dr. Gananath Ekkar, Chief Guest, shared his ideas on professional skill development, the importance of preserving nature and inculcating values in life. In his presidential address, Sri N. Nagaraja Ballal, President of College Management Committee, delivered an inspiring message to the gathering.

The formal function concluded with a vote of thanks by Vaibhav Ganesh Kamath of II-B, Student President, and was compered by Siyana Martis of II-H. It was followed by a spectacular cultural programme featuring dance, music, chende, yakshagana, bharatanatyam, painting etc.,

The Annual Day was a resounding success, providing a platform for the students to display their talents.
